Job Summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team at our hospital facility in Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Imaging Specialist
  • Interact with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients, and visitors
  • Act as a resource person for MRI technical and other issues
  • Operate MRI and related equipment
  • Prepare scan rooms and maintain images and archives associated with patient data
  • Maintain competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience in MRI technology
  • Graduate of an JCERT-approved two-year or four-year radiologic technology, nuclear medicine program, or MRI program
  • Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class
  • Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection
  • Ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine
  • ARRT registered
  • Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR within 18 months of hire
  • BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date
  • State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if incumbent performs CT, general radiography, or any other imaging using ionizing radiation
