Position Title: SIC Rigger Helper
Position Summary: We are currently seeking dedicated Riggers to assist in various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Rigger in positioning equipment such as hoists, blocks, and chains as instructed.
- Choose appropriate cables, ropes, and pulleys based on the load's specifications.
- Assist in attaching rigging to overhead structures securely.
- Evaluate work sites for potential hazards and obstructions.
- Communicate effectively using verbal and hand signals as required.
- Plan the installation sequence to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Prepare materials and rigging equipment for transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Handle and transport items of varying weights safely.
- Identify and respond to unsafe conditions promptly.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Completion of all required safety and job training.
- Adherence to safety and quality standards set by the company.
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
- Ability to utilize personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
- Work conditions may include exposure to dust, grease, and varying weather.
- Capability to access all areas of job sites, including elevated and confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks and operate necessary equipment.
- Willingness to work in diverse environments, including warehouses and construction sites.
