Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, dependable, and high-quality service to internal and external customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain clean, efficient work areas and service facilities, including dealership property such as work trucks and trailers.
  • Inventory Management: Transfer units in and out of the Service Department, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient workflow.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Unit Preparation: Wash and detail all units, ensuring they are presented in a clean and attractive manner.
  • Assembly and PDI: Assemble and perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new units, ensuring they are ready for customer delivery.
  • Lot Maintenance: Maintain the entire lot, including cleaning and organizing the area, and ensuring that all units are properly secured.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of powersports experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and experience with sales of powersports and other products and services sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Maintain a positive attitude and relationship with all other employees, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Requires the use of both hands, frequent bending, stopping, crouching, reaching, handling tools, and lifting 50lbs of material.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, and potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently works near moving mechanical parts, and occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
