Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to teach Theatre/Film Appreciation courses at our institution. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Theatre or Drama or a Master's degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in the qualifying field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
  • Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.
Supplemental Functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Theatre or Drama or a Master's degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in the qualifying field.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to the college's core values, an understanding of culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field.
