Appliance Repair Technician Job Description

Omnia360 Facility Solutions is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical or gas appliances, such as clothes washers and dryers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair electrical or gas appliances, including clothes washers and dryers.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with appliances, including disassembling and reassembling units as needed.
  • Clean and adjust equipment, parts, or tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test electrical circuits, mechanical equipment, or components for proper functioning.
  • Record maintenance and repair work performed on appliances.
  • Refer to schematic drawings, product manuals, and troubleshooting guides to diagnose and repair problems.
  • Observe and examine appliances during operation to detect specific malfunctions.
  • Instruct customers regarding operation and care of appliances.
Requirements:
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
  • 2+ years of appliance repair and/or general maintenance craft experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CMMS software a plus.
  • Ability to complete required safety classes.
  • Personal hand tools a plus.
  • Ability to pass both an FBI/BCI background check and drug screen.
