Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Service Center, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their claims are processed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Processing: Assign new claims to the appropriate claims handler, enter accurate and complete information into the claims management system, and communicate with customers regarding documentation required to process a claim.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding all aspects of the claims process, provide timely and effective resolution to customer inquiries and issues.
- Quality Service Culture: Participate in and maintain a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team, ensuring that all interactions with customers are professional, courteous, and respectful.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, support the organization's quality program(s), and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, PC literate, including Microsoft Office products, good customer service skills, strong organizational skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
