Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at CDMun. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing internal clinical behavioral health and leader support and training to commanders and Soldiers within the Office of the Command Psychologist US Army Recruiting Command (USAREC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and recommend unit behavioral health initiatives that promote a positive and safe environment for Soldiers and their Families.
  • Develop and implement the Integrated Leader Development Program.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify factors that negatively affect desired organizational culture.
  • Advise and train leaders to identify signs of stress and take appropriate actions.
  • Implement evidence-based psychotherapy modalities and conduct a variety of activities to support unit success.
  • Complete and maintain all military and professional licensure training requirements.
  • Safeguard information and client confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Hold a PsyD or PhD doctoral degree in clinical or counseling Psychology from a graduate program Accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
  • Have one (1) year of supervised clinical experience at an APA accredited internship program.
  • Shall be in good standing and hold unrestricted Clinical Psychologist license issued from a state or territory licensing board of the United States of America.
  • Shall be computer literate and have the ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Strong listening, observation, and communication skills.
  • High analytical mindset.
  • Empathetic and sensitive when working with patients.
  • Possess expert diagnostic skills.
Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, a health screening to include TB testing, obtain and maintain a Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support Certification approved by the American Heart Associations, be successfully credentialed by the base Medical Treatment Facility, have acceptable references, obtain a favorable adjudicated National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) or an equivalent or higher investigation in accordance with Army Directive 2014-05, and obtain a Common Access card which allows access to the military base and protected data.

You must have reliable transportation to/from work and the ability to travel to other bases as requested to perform your contracted duties.
