  13. Direct electrical engineering efforts to ensure reliable power distribution and control systems for facility operations.
  14. Coordinate mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic design functions to develop safe and efficient equipment.
  15. Build and maintain a high-performing team through effective recruitment, training, and employee development.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in reliability engineering and familiarity with reliability metrics.
  • At least 15 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing context, preferably in heavy manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in Machine Design Engineering and mechanical operations of manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic design, and Electrical Engineering, along with knowledge of Environmental Engineering principles.
  • Practical knowledge of forging, machining, and metallurgical processes necessary for effective design and equipment functionality.
  • Significant leadership experience (minimum 10 years) managing a diverse maintenance team across various locations and shifts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a unionized environment, including managing employee relations.
  • Experience in overseeing large capital and operational maintenance projects and budgets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with annual Plant and Property Insurance audits.
