We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NJ Morris Cty Cor Fac. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily sick call and provide emergency care for identified medical emergencies
  • Perform minor surgical procedures, repair lacerations, and remove sutures
  • Treat and manage non-psychotic behavioral health disorders and provide ongoing care for patients on maintenance doses of non-psychotic medications
  • Participate in Quality Management and Peer Review activities, document findings, and attend quarterly Quality Management meetings
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing (NPs) or an accredited education program for PAs
  • Previous correctional/detention facility experience
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience
  • Unrestricted current license, certification, or registration in state of practice
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
  • Current lifesaving BLS and PALS (where applicable) certification through AHA
