About the Role

Cerity Partners is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our tax team as a Tax Administrator intern. This is a paid internship program designed to provide college students with a hands-on, career-related experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with building, organizing, scanning, and preparing client source files for use in the tax preparation process.
  • Utilize GoFileRoom (CRM/Project Management), Engagement Manager (Document Storage), and Adobe Acrobat software to organize and generate electronic client data.
  • Assist Tax Administrators in assembling client tax return deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Tax Advisors and Tax Administrators.
Requirements
  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
  • Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a related business degree.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Actively participate in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role, and/or professional work experience.
  • Identify with Cerity Partners' mission and demonstrate our core values.
  • Dependable, timely, and with solid follow-through.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn to navigate various software applications.
  • Organized, with proficiency in compiling data into a presentable, orderly deliverable.
  • Accurate, with close attention to detail.

  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
