Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3) - Medical Oncology ICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake. As a key member of our Medical Oncology ICU team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading and managing staff, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain credibility as a leader of day-to-day operations
  • Oversee staffing and provide leadership for clinical and administrative functions
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain various work processes that ensure successful department function
  • Promote effective communication among staff and patients
  • Identify staff and resource problems and take necessary steps toward problem resolutions
Requirements:
  • 2 years of current or ICU nursing experience
  • Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
  • An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous work experience in ICU medical and or oncology nursing
