Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at White-Wilson Medical Center, P.A., you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging studies under the direction of our Radiologists. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining patient safety and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce diagnostic radiographs while adhering to established techniques and procedures.
- Operate radiographic equipment to the satisfaction of our Radiologists.
- Ensure that completed exams are submitted with all required paperwork complete for interpretation.
- Assist in the administration of contrast agents.
- Respond to patient needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Practice sterile techniques and take necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination.
- Create imaging discs for patients.
- Troubleshoot PACS-related issues.
- Assist Radiologists with fluoroscopic and other examinations as required.
- Maintain current knowledge and training on equipment and procedures.
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations, registries, and licenses.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and consistently display a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Current registration - ARRT from an AMA-approved school and state certification.
- Current Florida license - CRT.
- Current American Heart Association recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum one-year experience in a broad-based radiology department, preferred.
Work Environment
This position requires regular and reliable on-site attendance. Travel may be required to our clinics in Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville, and Navarre.
