Key Responsibilities- Under direct supervision, perform packaging, manipulative, and repetitive tasks, including removing drugs from stock, counting, pouring, or mixing pharmaceuticals.
- Place product into a container and affix labels as required.
- Packaging and repackaging of pharmaceuticals.
- Perform other duties as required by the Pharmacy Team.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician License (California).
- Successful completion of the Kaiser Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Program.
- Working knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, generic, and trade name equivalents.
- Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services.
- Ability to learn and operate the pharmacy computer system and other equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
- Ability to read, understand, and transcribe pharmaceutical information.
- Lift or transport items up to lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must pass entrance exam and background check.
