Lumberyard Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Lumberyard Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized lumberyard, and assisting customers with their purchasing needs.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their purchasing needs, answering questions, and suggesting products that meet their requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized lumberyard, including housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Process special orders and assist with price lookup and order entry.
• Notify customers of upcoming promotions and new products.
• Assist with taking regular inventory of stock and loading customers' vehicles.
• Help yard staff with other tasks as needed.

• Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• A working knowledge of the products in the store with a willingness to continue to learn.
• Organized, self-starter who thinks independently and solves problems.
• Strong math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of effective sales methods and techniques.
