Pilot Engineer Job Description

Veolia Water Technologies, Inc. is a leading provider of water and wastewater solutions to industrial and municipal customers. As a Pilot Engineer, you will play a crucial role in conducting pilot performance testing of process technologies at water and wastewater treatment plants across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pilot studies to simulate full-scale plant performance and demonstrate the capabilities of the technology.
  • Set up and optimize pilot units, analyze samples, and conduct presentations of the system.
  • Introduce and provide training of the system to plant operators, manage and interpret all data collected, and submit a technical report.
  • Maintain all equipment and pilot trailers during pilot study, including spare parts.
  • Develop a plan of action for each pilot study by working with the Pilot Group Manager, Process Group, and Regional Sales Manager.
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field, such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, or environmental engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree required in any of the above fields.
  • Laboratory analysis experience preferred but not required.
