Beauty Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled esthetician to join our team at LIT & Aesthetics. As an esthetician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional skin, body, and hair removal treatments to our clients. Your primary goal will be to ensure client satisfaction and retention, while also meeting revenue goals and building a strong client base.

• Provide waxing, facials, body treatments, and skincare/product education to clients.
• Adhere to appointments in a timely manner, monitoring time schedules and ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Welcome clients warmly, accompany them to and from treatment rooms, and thank them sincerely on departure.
• Interview clients to obtain information about contraindications and examine skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments.
• Advise clients on skincare and recommend suitable treatments and home care regimens.
• Engage and converse with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests.
• Maintain product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products.
• Adhere to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment.
• Care for linens and replace them between sessions.
• Cease treatment and inform a supervisor in the event of inappropriate guest behavior.
• Build local networks and client relationships.
• Assist with planning, setup, and execution of MedSpa events.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide positive client interface.
• Develop monthly emailers sharing MedSpa specials with the client base.
• Maintain client confidentiality, privacy, and HIPAA laws.

• State licensure to practice as an esthetician.
• 1+ years of industry experience.
• Proficient in performing all applicable treatments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly manner.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
