We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Commonwealth Senior Living at Haddam. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working under the direction of the Resident Care Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and document medication and treatments per physician's order
- Provide direct nursing care and clinical supervision of nursing assistants
- Monitor residents' comfort and respond to their physical and emotional needs
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current LPN certification in the state of Connecticut
- Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
