Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient placement and access case management to ensure effective and efficient patient care.
- Collaborate with Nurse Managers, Administrative Supervisors, Physicians, and Medical Directors to remove barriers and bottlenecks related to patient placement and flow.
- Develop and implement the Capacity Management plan for the day, ensuring seamless communication with patient placement staff, patient care areas, and senior leadership.
- Monitor bed availability and track patient conditions to ensure appropriate placement for required services.
- Work closely with Plant Ops and Environmental Services to optimize room utilization and daily census bed reports.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program and three years of professional nursing experience
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
