We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Staffingine LLC. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial and residential customers.
- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
- Service Calls: Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy.
- Quality Control: Perform final punch and quality check of mechanical rooms AC/Heat pumps, AHU's, RTU's, ERV's, ventilation equipment.
- Communication: Communicate with the Project Manager / HVAC Project Manager at the beginning and end of every day / service call and any schedule changes throughout the day ensuring team productivity is being observed.
- Materials and Equipment: Coordinate materials, parts, and equipment needed through Project Managers.
- Quality Standards: Understand and display compliance with R.T. Moore Quality Standards and Best practices.
- Service Vehicle: Ensure the service vehicle provided will be clean and well maintained with the appropriate parts stocked and well organized, ensuring that parts used will be tracked daily.
- Documentation: Prompt submission of accurate and legible service invoices and time sheets.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: 4 years of experience preferred.
- Certifications: EPA certification required. NATE certification preferred but not required at this time.
- Skills: Motivated work ethic, clear verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate with a team, basic mathematical ability, ability to read, write, and interpret reports and documents, critical thinking skills, and ability to problem solve independently.
- Physical Demands: Exposed to outdoor weather conditions including rain, humidity, snow, wind, cold, and heat. Willing and able to work on out of town/out of state projects as needed. Capable and willing to wear jobsite specific personal protective equipment and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Environmental Factors: Comfortable working in the following environments: outdoor weather conditions, very loud, wet or humid conditions, working near mechanical parts, working in high precarious places, working in awkward and/or confining workspaces, possible inhalation of fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock and vibrations.
