We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Trade Analyst to join our team at the State of California. As an Investment Trade Analyst, you will work closely with the Public Market Operations Lead to manage trading activity, establish processes for new trading strategies, and analyze business requirements for automation and efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in asset management, pension or institutional investor industry, financial services, or accounting industry. They will be responsible for developing and implementing streamlined processes and tools needed to gather investment and financial data, performing in-depth analysis of financial statements, investment portfolios, and market data, and generating solutions and formalizing a methodology using business intelligence tools.

As a key member of the team, you will oversee and educate junior investment officers while participating in the creation of customized investment expense management reports, audit reports, and agenda items to ensure transparency. The successful candidate will also assist the Associate Investment Manager to develop and implement a financial management operating model to improve investment expense management and total fund financial reporting.
