Cloud Strategy and Product Release Management

Support software development processes within automated systems by ensuring reliable deployment of software updates. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure virtualized infrastructure meets performance and scalability requirements.

Configuration Management and Automation

Implement and maintain standard configurations for products, ensuring consistency and repeatability across environments. Work closely with development teams to automate and refine configuration management processes. Administer and customize Jira to support agile development workflows and project management.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on product release and configuration management. Background in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation. Proficiency with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with Jira administration and configuration. Bash, Python, and other automation tools.

Certification and Cloud Strategy

Certification in relevant DevOps tools or platforms. Mature our cloud strategy, helping engineering teams migrate products and tooling to the cloud. Promote the benefits of DevOps, establish processes and best practices for product release management, and seek opportunities to automate manual tasks.
