Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Health Coach to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our Employer Solutions division, you will play a vital role in promoting health and wellness programs to community employers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Employer Solutions team to provide clinical expertise and implement evidence-based health programs, focusing on chronic disease prevention and motivational strategies.
- Conduct biometric screenings, including blood pressure, waist circumference, glucose, and other vital signs, to promote awareness and prevention of major risk factors.
- Perform clinical functions, such as routine health surveys, vaccinations, and blood pressure measurements, under the guidelines of our medical director and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Assist with statistical data entry and quality assessments to support employer-designed wellness incentive platforms.
- Deploy health programs and solutions, including Weight Forward, Quit Smart, and CPR, to employer community clients.
- Engage with diverse populations of clients at various stages of health risks, providing education, resources, and connections to community resources.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN degree.
- Licensed RN by the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience in community health and wellness, urgent care, occupational health, or home care.
- Motivational interviewing and/or Health Coaching certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be able to respond quickly to changes in conditions, and possess a valid driver's license. Occasional travel outside the 60-mile footprint may be required.
