Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compelling presentations to customers, showcasing Savvas Learning Company's solutions and services.
  • Provide expert training and support to pilot teachers, ensuring successful implementation of our products.
  • Collect and share customer feedback with sales, product, and marketing teams to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Maintain content expertise through certification and training programs.
  • Develop and deliver Program Activation training for new and existing customer accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date on Savvas Learning Company's print and digital solutions, and leverage this knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and redirection to relevant teams as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of K-12 education experience, including classroom teaching experience.
  • BS or BA, Master's degree preferred.
  • Specialty training or advanced certification is a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of education theory and market trends in 6-8 Science.
  • Deep passion for learning in K-12 education.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging presentations to large and small groups.
  • Previous experience in selling and servicing in the education market is a plus.
  • Experience in public speaking and creating engaging presentations for teachers, parents, district administrators, superintendents, or adoption committees.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technology, including presentation software and hardware.

Other Requirements:

  • Regional travel may be required, with occasional short-notice requests.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs.
  • Strong timekeeping and expense management skills.
  • Collaboration with team members and departments to address customer satisfaction issues.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative in training and preparedness.
  • Ability to have pointed conversations with school districts in the area of 6-8 Science.
  • Understanding of sales campaign strategy, market trends, and Savvas Learning Company services.
