Fishing Outfitter

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Fishing Outfitter to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and driving sales in the fishing department.

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Promote and sell fishing products, including rods, reels, lures, and other related accessories.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of fishing products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
• Assist customers with product selection, demonstrations, and setup.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
• Participate in visual merchandising, including product displays and signage.
• Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the success of the fishing department.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in an outdoor or sporting goods environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
