Job Summary:

Highway Materials, Inc.-Construction Division is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead our construction projects in the 2024 season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in resource coordination, cost control, and quality management. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating resources, including equipment, labor, and supplies
  • Monitoring cost control, quality, and productivity on projects
  • Tracking and reporting quantities and employee hours daily
  • Training and disciplining operators, drivers, and laborers as necessary


Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Asphalt Paving Foreman and 2 years of experience in PennDOT or other DOT/Municipal work. They will also require a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, and NECEPT certification. Additional requirements include the ability to adapt to day/night shifts, withstand physical demands, and work in extreme weather temperatures.
