About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Southcoast Health System. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department, including setting up all stations and performing positions.
  • Break down stations completely, ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Perform floor stock procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, and food surfaces according to procedures.
  • Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and/or placed for sale.
  • Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions.
Requirements
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
