Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in process enhancement initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction, optimizing workflow, and enhancing the work environment.
- Facilitate or take part in Daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare discussions, and month-end reviews to ensure compliance with federal billing standards.
- Supervise and actively participate in the execution of the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA's, and Care Plan) in line with current Federal and State Regulations.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to assist in the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with the necessary current state licensure.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an MDS Coordinator in a long-term care environment.
- Current/active CPR certification is required.
- Exhibit personal integrity and professionalism to work effectively with the Interdisciplinary Team, Patients, and Families.
- Possess knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to long-term care.
