Construction Worker

Hughes Brothers Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in assisting our crew and ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

• Assist the construction crew in completing daily tasks and follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Dig pits, trenches, and foundations in preparation for job site construction.
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
• Clean up the worksite when the project is complete.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds.
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, heat, and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Out of town travel and/or overtime is a possibility.
• English and Spanish fluency a plus, but not required.
