The Back 40, a live music and event venue in Mitchell SD, seeks an experienced Executive Culinary Leader to oversee the entire kitchen operation.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000-$60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Cook during service and ensure high-quality dishes are served timely
- Manage food cost, ordering, and inventory control
- Schedule staff and supervise the entire kitchen team
- Create and update menus to meet customer demand and preferences
- Oversee catering operations both in-house and off-site
- Proven experience as an executive chef or culinary leader in a similar setting
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of local sourcing and made-from-scratch cooking techniques
