Qualifications
  • Must possess a Doctorate in Rehabilitation Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in the same field and have successfully completed the NPTE

  • At least one year of professional experience

Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients referred for rehabilitation services, which includes providing direct patient care to assess their medical status, functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential. Additionally, the Rehabilitation Therapist will design and implement a treatment plan with specific objectives tailored to the patient's capabilities and tolerance under the supervision of a physician. The therapist must also establish realistic and attainable goals for patients, document their progress, and educate patients and families on appropriate rehabilitation techniques.

  • Develops individualized care plans for each rehabilitation patient.
  • Provides expert rehabilitation therapy services in accordance with physician directives.
  • Evaluates patient needs, plans for, assesses, and adjusts care to achieve therapy goals.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to strategize and assess goals for each patient.
