Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our patients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting patients with toileting activities and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
  • Assisting patients with ambulation and exercise, as ordered by the physician
  • Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service, as ordered
  • Assisting patients with self-administration of medication
  • Reporting on patient's condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Meet the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
  • Have at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to read and follow written instructions and document care given
  • Be self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Have empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and impaired
  • Possess and maintain current CPR certification
  • Demonstrate tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
