Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Production Operator to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our batch mixing and compounding processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various equipment used in the batch mixing and compounding process, including compounding machines, batch mixing machines, filler machines, and spray dry machines.
  • Set up and change over equipment as needed to meet production requirements.
  • Measure and prepare raw materials according to work order requirements.
  • Stage and add raw materials to tanks as per manufacturing instructions.
  • Fulfill orders by filling and packing products according to order specifications.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of batch records and production data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production demands and optimize processes.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
  • Experience with machine operation and maintenance, particularly in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and operate a forklift.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in a GMP food manufacturing environment. The work environment is dynamic and requires physical activity, including lifting and operating equipment. Comfort with different smells and prior experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
