Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team at Haywood Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our PCU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or from a Compact State.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire and maintenance thereafter.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
