We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Innovative Therapy Concepts, LLC. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and achieve exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Administer physical therapy treatments to patients, including active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and heat, light, sound, water, and electrical modality treatments.
- Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as preambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily living activities.
- Observe patients during treatments and compile and evaluate data on patients' responses to treatments and progress.
- Fit patients for, adjust, and train patients in use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices.
- Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active and current Physical Therapist Assistant License that allows you to practice in the state in which you work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate patients about their condition, treatments, and to communicate with patients' families.
