Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Manager, the Radiology Technologist produces high-quality diagnostic medical radiographs to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produces quality images by using appropriate exposure technique to ensure proper penetration of the area being radiographed.
  • Documents patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations.
  • Performs OR/Surgery cases using C-arms and portable machines efficiently.
  • Observes established departmental policies, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiology Technology program.
  • One year Radiology Technology experience preferred but new grads welcome.
  • ARRT and CPR preferred.
Work Environment

The Radiology Department at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital takes pride in the excellent team we have and the care we provide. All equipment is DR and less than 3 years old. You will have opportunities to work in the Emergency, ICU, Surgery, Fluoroscopy, and perform Minor specials. We have a Quality Assurance program and a Continuing Education Resource center just for Imaging.
