Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to ascertain material needs or assembly directives.
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or casings using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding tools.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to rectify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly processes.
  • Provide explanations of assembly techniques or procedures to fellow workers.
  • Clean components using appropriate cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
  • Drill or tap holes in designated equipment locations for mounting control units or creating openings for elements, wiring, or instruments.
  • Fabricate or form parts, coils, or structures according to specifications utilizing drills, calipers, cutters, or saws.
  • Collaborate with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities and resolve production challenges.
  • Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or operational efficiency, documenting results.
  • Label and tag components for effective stock inventory tracking.
  • Measure and adjust voltages to specified values to verify the operational accuracy of instruments.
  • Complete, review, or maintain production, time, or component waste reports.
  • Distribute materials, supplies, or subassemblies to designated work areas.
  • Package finished assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage areas using hoists or hand trucks.
Qualifications:

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be necessary during peak workloads.

Essential attributes include:
  • A positive attitude.
  • Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with electrical components.
  • Experience with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and capability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Prior experience in electrical assembly is preferred but not mandatory.
