This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities include producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

Depending on location, the position may also require utilizing general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

Key qualifications include successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Upon hire, the successful candidate will be required to obtain Washington Radiologic Technologist and National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certifications.

Within one year of hire, the position requires National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification.

Preferred qualifications include 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
