Craft Baker

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Baker to join our team at Deschutes Brewery. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods, including artisan breads, crackers, and rolls.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial baking experience with artisan breads and/or pastry, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping dough, and ensuring that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and mix ingredients to create high-quality baked goods
• Shape and mold dough to create visually appealing products
• Ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations

Requirements:

• Previous commercial baking experience with artisan breads and/or pastry
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
