Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Clinic team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, lead clinical teams, and promote a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Lead clinical teams and provide guidance and support to other staff members.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • 2 years of direct experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification.
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
Working Conditions

This is a heavy work position that requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Chemicals and biohazardous materials require personal protective equipment.
