We are seeking a qualified Chemical Dependency Counselor to join our team at Addiction Recovery. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.

About the Position

The successful candidate will provide counseling services to patients, developing and implementing treatment plans that address their unique needs. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and support throughout the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions, as well as family education and counseling
  • Participate in staff coverage and crisis intervention activities as needed
  • Meet daily with the treatment team to review patient progress and update treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Human Services, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Certification as an addiction counselor in Maryland under the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists, or active pursuit thereof
  • At least two years of supervised experience providing chemical dependency counseling services
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
