Highly Skilled Electrician Required for Manufacturing Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Haworth, Inc. in Holland.
This position comes with a $5K sign-on bonus and offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
As an electrician at Haworth, you will perform routine maintenance and provide emergency response for all machines and equipment, diagnose problems and maintain or repair as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Diagnose situations, determine course of action and repair or update machines/equipment.
- Disassemble, adjust, rework, rebuild or replace electrical components of machinery and equipment.
- Operate and test production equipment to ensure effectiveness and safety of repairs.
- Plan, lay out and perform all bench and machine operations to construct, alter, repair and retrofit intricately designed programs.
- Test runs machine/equipment to determine effectiveness and completeness of electrical service or repairs.
- Provide project leadership on major installation or revisions of machines and equipment at various Haworth facilities.
- May create drawings, schematics and related files for future reference during equipment setup/move, etc.
- Assist other maintenance members and serve as resource to engineering and management.
- May assume electronic technician duties when required.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and electrical equipment to keep machines and equipment in good working order.
- Using technology systems, create work requests and work orders, obtain needed parts in-house or order through tool crib, and obtain historical work order information.
- Bend and run conduit throughout plant(s), both indoors and outdoors.
- Routinely contact suppliers or manufacturers on part information, repair issues, improvements and shipping instructions.
- Mentor apprentices.
- Create and complete work requests and work orders, source parts from tool crib, and obtain historical work orders information. Maintain documentation of equipment; complete all appropriate paperwork.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate of completion of four-year apprentice program or equivalent (equivalent is six years electrician experience).
- Journeyman Electrician, Department of Labor card required.
