The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist to contribute to our mission of clinical service, research, and education.
About the DivisionThe division of diagnostic neuroradiology serves the University of Maryland Medical Center and its affiliated hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of imaging services.
Our team is comprised of 7 faculty members and works closely with a team of 4 neurointerventional surgeons, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment including High Field MRI scanners, Simultaneous PET-MRI, Hyperpolarized C-13 MRI, and a MRI guided focused ultrasound system.
Responsibilities- Interpret MRI and CT examinations of the brain, spine, head, and neck
- Perform basic spine interventional procedures
- Participate in furthering the education mission of the department with its residency and programs
- Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clinicians, patients, and trainees
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Radiology, and qualify for a Maryland medical license.
Applicants should possess experience in interpretation of MRI and CT examinations of the brain, spine, head, and neck, and proficiency with basic spine interventional procedures.
