About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Registered Nurse to join our team at Elevance Health. As a key member of our Ambulatory Infusion team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the success of our infusion therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer ordered therapies to patients in a safe and effective manner, adhering to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct physical assessments on patients as needed, and refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessments as required.
  • Document all pertinent data in the patient's medical record, including therapy plans and patient responses.
  • Report significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on any identified problems.
  • Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans and ensure that all medication orders are complete, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
  • Provide clinical coverage for Registered Nurses on PTO/LOA and support new market launches as needed.
Requirements
  • ASN or ADN degree and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with IV therapy.
  • BSN degree.
  • Multi-state license a plus.
