BioLife, a subsidiary of the Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., is dedicated to providing lifesaving and life-sustaining therapies to individuals with rare and complex diseases. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of plasma donors.
Job Responsibilities:- Donor Eligibility Screening: Conduct thorough medical history interviews, physical examinations, and informed consent procedures to determine donor suitability.
- Medical Emergency Response: Evaluate donor reactions and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for emergency situations.
- Collaboration with Medical Professionals: Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when necessary for guidance on medical or technical matters.
- Employee Support: Provide assistance and support to employees in case of incidents, determining whether further evaluation is required.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with state-specific requirements for nursing program completion.
- CURRENTLY LICENSED OR CERTIFIED IN THE STATE WHERE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE ASSIGNED: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
