Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers
  • Conduct daily pre-route vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness
  • Ensure accurate loading and securing of cargo to prevent damage or loss
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to support delivery operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure seamless delivery operations

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and current DMV abstract
  • Class A CDL license
  • DOT Medical Examiners Card, or ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Professional appearance, communication, and actions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and committed to 100% accuracy and quality

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • May require lifting and pulling of heavy objects (75+lbs)
  • Warehouse environment and customer locations or job sites
  • Driving delivery vehicle with GVW up-to, or over 26,000 lbs.
  • Safe operation of a forklift or other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)
  • Position may include an early start some, or most, days
  • Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours may occasionally be required
  • Requires regular and reliable attendance

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
  • Pay is $23.51/hour - $29.38/hour, DOE
