Ultrasound Technologist

At Vidant Health, we are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts.
Responsibilities:- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts.
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging.
- Develop and process ultrasound images for interpretation by physicians.
- Implement patient charges and assist physicians as needed.
- Recognize and address patient pain and discomfort during procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Ultrasonography or School of Radiology.
- Eligible or possess a current RT(R)(S)(VS)RDMS registry or ARDMS(RVT) registry.
- At least three months of work experience in ultrasound, or completion of an ultrasound program.
This is a PRN (as needed) position with a primary shift of 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. No on-call or weekend shifts are required.
