Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and community integration.
  • Provide education and training to individuals on life skills, social skills, and vocational skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Monitor and report on individual progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • One year of experience in developmental services or a related field; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
