Radiology Education Program Coordinator

Position Overview:
Employment Type: Full Time
In collaboration with the Program Director of Radiology Education, the Coordinator is responsible for the organization and facilitation of the School of Radiologic Technology.
The role includes a variety of essential programmatic functions, such as clinical scheduling, curriculum design, student recruitment, academic advising, maintenance of student records, management of non-compliance issues, classroom teaching, clinical instruction involving patient care, and ensuring adherence to programmatic accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Associate degree. A Bachelor's Degree is required within 24 months of employment or transfer into this role.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, business, or education is highly desirable.
MANDATORY LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
ARRT Certification and BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
PREFERRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: Certifications from ARRT and ARDMS -or- ARRT and NMTCB.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered radiologic technologist.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of experience in a JCERT accredited facility.
CRUCIAL SKILLS: 1. Strong organizational abilities, effective scheduling, time management, teaching and instructional skills, decision-making capabilities, and proficient written and verbal communication.
