Norman Regional Health System's Surgical Services department consists of 24 operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Our team provides a wide range of services, including urology, general, neuro, GYN, orthopedics, ENT, and vascular access.

Our scrub techs demonstrate exceptional teamwork, ensuring a sterile environment is maintained and providing a safe environment for our patients. We orient new scrub techs to all of our surgical areas by providing an extensive orientation with a dedicated preceptor.

Job Summary

Assigned duties by the Coordinator/Charge Nurse:

  • Cleans OR suites after cases are completed
  • Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the assigned area or department
  • Transports patients
  • Gives basic patient care

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Perioperative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Schedule
