Job Opportunity

Taos Healthcare is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care in an assisted living/nursing home facility setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians in providing treatment to patients with various medical conditions. Key responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring and recording patient progress, and educating families and patients as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care, maintaining nursing standards while supporting patients with all applicable medical needs.
  • Conduct administrative duties, including attending medical conferences and courses for ongoing care and education.
  • Identify patients' care requirements, focus on their needs, and act on them.
  • Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support.
  • Resolve or report on patients' needs or problems.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks.
  • Follow care regulations and standards.
  • Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • License to practice nursing in the state.
  • Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Compassionate with good communication skills.
  • Reliability and ability to show up to all scheduled shifts.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • A minimum of six months of recent medical experience.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Background check (required).
  • Covid-19 Vaccinated (required).
  • Current BLS/CPR.
  • TB Tested.

Compensation: $20/HR for CNA's, $40/HR for LVN's, and $50/HR for RN's.
